Cytogenetics Workshop Learn the fundamentals of karyotyping and applications with cytogenetics hands-on

In this hands-on worshop, you get to learn and practice fundamental aspects of cytogenetics:

• Sample collection
• Tissue culture
• Harvesting
• Slide preparation
• Staining and Banding
• Microscopy
• Identification of Chromosomes (normal and abnormal)
• Interpretation of karyotype reports

Any professional interested in the laboratory aspect of routine cytogenetics should apply.

Desirable qualifications include MBBS, MD (Pathology, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry), MSc (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Biology)

This is a practical workshop conducted at our lab in Nashik. The duration is two days, where participants will indulge in ten sessions, each session being two and a half hour long.
